Shullman Fugate is excited to announce the addition of a new associate attorney, Yelan Escalona, to our team.
Prior to joining the firm, Yelan practiced commercial litigation and business immigration. She represented public and private companies across a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, finance, construction, and manufacturing. She also represented clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, trademark infringement, and consumer finance.
Yelan received her law degree from the University of Florida School of Law. During law school, Yelan served as a congressional intern at the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C., and as a judicial intern at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Miami, Florida. She was also an intern and fellow at the University of Miami School of Law’s Investor Rights Clinic, where she represented underserved investors in FINRA arbitration.
Yelan will be working out of the firm’s Miami office.
