Shullman Fugate Welcomes New Associate

Shullman Fugate is excited to announce the addition of a new associate attorney, Minch Minchin, to our team.

Prior to joining the firm, Minch served as law clerk to the Honorable Karon O. Bowdre, Chief Judge of the Northern District of Alabama, where he managed a broad civil docket. Before clerking, Minch studied media law at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, where he earned both a master’s and Ph.D. and wrote on a variety of First Amendment issues.

As an undergraduate student, Minch worked as a reporter, photographer, and editor at the Independent Florida Alligator and played linebacker for the Gator football team.

Minch received his law degree, Order of the Coif, from the University of Florida, where he served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Florida Law Review and taught media law to undergraduate students. As a law student, Minch worked for a media nonprofit in Washington, D.C., a law firm in Tampa, Florida, and two federal judges in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Minch will be working out of the firm’s Jacksonville office.
