Shullman Fugate Welcomes New Partner, Allison Lovelady

Shullman Fugate Welcomes…

Shullman Fugate is expanding again!  The firm welcomes partner Allison Lovelady, who will join the firm’s West Palm Beach office.

Allison previously practiced law with Shullman Fugate founders Rachel Fugate and Deanna Shullman, and the firm is ecstatic to have her back.  She brings to the firm a wealth of experience in intellectual property law, both transactional and litigation.  Her work has included defending and prosecuting copyright and trademark infringement lawsuits, licensing and other permissive use of intellectual property in various media, registering copyrights and trademarks, and managing large and small corporate intellectual property portfolios. Before becoming a defense lawyer, Allison successfully pursued defamation, privacy and other content-related claims, bringing a unique perspective to her defense work in these areas.

An experienced litigator, Allison has appeared before the United States Supreme Court in a matter involving internet defamation issues, as well as in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Florida Supreme Court, and Florida Appellate Courts on issues of intellectual property, media access and content.

Licensed to practice law since 2009, Allison has been consistently named to Super Lawyers® Rising Stars from 2012-2017. She tweets about intellectual property and other legal issues at @IPLawyerFlorida.
