Shullman Fugate Welcomes New Associate

Shullman Fugate is pleased to announce the addition of a new associate to our team. Attorney Giselle Girones will be working out of the firm’s Jacksonville office. She is a cum laude graduate of Stetson University College of Law, where she served as an editor of the Stetson Journal for Advocacy and the Law and was active in the Florida Association for Women Lawyers at Stetson.

With experience in both Florida state and federal courts, and a background working as a marketing representative for various music labels, Giselle is an ideal fit for Shullman Fugate’s media, intellectual property law, and litigation practice.

In addition to her work in the music industry, Giselle also has experience working in media and marketing for a well-known college sports team. Her background also includes time at a boutique intellectual property firm, working with trademark and copyright issues and assisting with copyright and trademark prosecution as well as copyright and trademark litigation. Giselle is also fluent in Spanish. Her varied skills will enrich Shullman Fugate’s ability to address clients’ needs regarding their intellectual property protection and media matters.

Giselle brings exceptional energy, focus, and skill to the firm. She was one of only 31 attorneys selected to participate in the Florida Bar’s 2017-2018 Wm. Reece Smith Jr. Leadership Academy. We are confident that Giselle’s ongoing professional development through this program, as well as her other qualifications, will accrue to the benefit of Shullman Fugate’s clients.
